I had the joy of beautifying an expecting mama for her traditional maternity shoot. We went for a soft, glowing look that made her feel radiant and special—natural base, gentle contour, a soft eye and a pretty lip so she looked and felt amazing.

Doing my own makeup and hair for my maternity shoot was incredibly special to me. It wasn’t just about the look, it was about feeling confident, calm, and truly myself during such an emotional time. I created a soft makeup look that enhances natural beauty, complemented by soft curls for a timeless and elegant finish while keeping it timeless and effortless, just the way I love it.
On the first model, I built a bold editorial look. Multitoned green eyeshadow, mint and seafoam on the inner lid blending into deeper jade and forest green in the crease and outer corner, with seamless blending and defined lashes. The skin is flawless and radiant: a warm base, soft peachy blush, and strategic highlighting on the cheekbones and cupid's bow; lips are kept in a glossy nude to peach so the eyes remain the focus. On the second model, I went for a softer, more natural interpretation. Warm neutral tones on the eyes (taupes and soft browns), a fresh, even complexion with subtle contour and blush, and a soft rosy nude lip. Her features are enhanced without being overdone; the result is polished and wearable, demonstrating control and an understanding of natural beauty. Together, the two models showcase range and the technical precision and artistic judgment expected at certification level.
